Arts Rolla Office Hours
Our office has part time staff. Please call before planning your visit to our office to make sure that our administrative assistant is available to assist you. Our office is typically open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. Our number is 573.364.5539.

Arts Rolla Events

January 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to announce that our artists of the month will be Dr. George Karr and Dr. Elizabeth teGroen. Dr. Karr will share original photography of locations around the world.  Dr. teGroen will share the Newburg Children Museum Art.   The exhibit is at The Centre, located at 1200 N. Holloway, Rolla, MO 65401 throughout the month of January 2012. 

January 28, 2012 - Workshop for Artists - Arts Rolla is pleased to present a workshop for artists. Our trainer will be Sue Greenburg from the St. Louis Volunteer Lawyer and Accountants for Artists organization and Rita Choate, Tax Preparation Expert. 

Session 1 - Taxes and Bookkeeping for Artists - 10 am to noon

Session 2 - Marketing for Artists - 1 pm to 3 pm

Cost is $10 for advance registration and $15 at the door.

Class will be held at MS&T, Centennial Hall, 11th Street, Rolla, MO, Room 213.

Please use the back door of the building, located closest to Rolla Street and use the elevator to the Studio.

February 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to announce that our artist of the month will be Dr. Gary Patterson. Dr. Patterson will share original photography. The exhibit will be displayed at The Centre, located at 1200 N. Holloway, Rolla, MO 65401 throughout the month of February 2012.  Opening Reception is from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, February 3, 2012. The reception is free and open to the public.

March 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to announce that our artists of the month will be Bella Art. Bella Art Artists are a regional group of women artists. The exhibit will be displayed at The Centre, located at 1200 N. Holloway, Rolla, MO 65401 throughout the month of March 2012.  Opening Reception is from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, March 2, 2012. The reception is free and open to the public.

April 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to announce that our April exhibit is the Annual Youth Art Exhibit . The exhibit will be displayed at The Centre, located at 1200 N. Holloway, Rolla, MO 65401 throughout the month of April 2012. Children's artowk can be brought to The Centre on April 2 between 4 pm and 6 pm.  Artwork can be claimed on April 30, 2012 between 4 pm and 6 pm.     Opening Reception is Saturday, April 7, 2012 during Breakfast With The Bunny.

April 20, 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to present PoetSpeak.  .

June 9, 2012 - Save the date for the Peaceful Bend Wine Cellar Concert. This concert is underwritten by Brewer Science.

July 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to present an exhibit of artwork from the artists of Art St. Louis.

October 2012 - Arts Rolla is pleased to share the work of Arts Rolla artists at an exhibit called "Pure Enjoyment" in Springfield, MO at The Creamery Arts Center. Opportunities to Teach, Share and Learn

The Newburg Children's Museum is seeking instructors to teach 1 hour art, craft or cultural classes on Thursdays between the hours of 4 & 5 PM. Classes have approximately 10 students ranging in ages between 8 and 12 years old. All interested instructors are invited to contact Elizabeth te Groen at 573 762 3077 for more information.

Original art gives you the chance to show someone how special they are by selecting something that is unique. Artwork by Arts Rolla artists can be found at The Centre and at The Rolla City Hall. Orval Reeves Gallery located at 606 N. Cedar, Rolla, MO features the work of numerous artists. The gallery also has jewelry, scarves, pottery and glassware. Arts Rolla is pleased have the Orval Reeves Gallery as a member

Lisa's Hair Salon at 605 North Cedar Street, Rolla, MO features original art by Ellen Pearce, photo's by Eliza M. Rhoads-Pope, scarves by Karen McIlwain and original jewelry designed by Naomie Morris Landers, and Allison Garvey. Arts Rolla is pleased to welcome Lisa's Hair Salon as a member. Did you know that original artwork by Arts Rolla artists is available for viewing at the Rolla City Hall? The exhibit changes every month. Stop by during normal business hours and enjoy this exhibit.
